Display Advertising

E-Sombrero magazine is the electronic newsletter of the Pima County Medical Society. Sombrero has been published in some form for more than 50 years. It is sent to more than 1,200 e-mail subscribers.


E-Sombrero is distributed by e-mail to physicians, allied health professionals, health agency executives, hospital administrators and advertisers.


Advertisements should meet the following criteria:


  • Medically related advertisements that offer products or services that fall within generally accepted standards of good health.
  • Commercial, non-patient oriented advertisements of interest to members.
  • Professional advertisements in good taste.
  • No political advertising.
  • No advertising that competes with Pima County Medical Society businesses.


All advertising is subject to editorial board approval. E-Sombrero is sent 12 times a year.

  • Table of Contents Ad: $200, $150, $130

    • 1X - $200

    • 7-12X - $130

  • Body Ad: $100, $75, $65

    • 1X - $100
    • 2-6X - $75
    • 7-12X - $65
  • Discounts available for PCMS members.
  • Canceled contracts subject to a 50% non-fulfillment penalty.
  • Rates are subject to change.
